Most of our videos are filmed in a full 360 arc, this means you should be able to use your device to move the video around and up and down. If you are having issues or if you are watching with VR goggles, click over and watch our Hike360vr playlist directly on YouTube.
Oriental Bittersweet Berries all over the place. Birds eat the berries and spread the invasive plant further through their droppings. The seeds remain in the bird’s stomach for several weeks, which leads to the spreading of oriental bittersweet far away from its original location. This is a fun video to use your 360 VR goggles. Tall trees, close-ups of plants and two off looking guys.
I love how much I’ve learned about birds this year. I also really like that I’m learning about all these different hike locations. Dad speaks non-sense for a while, sit back and enjoy. Shout out to Richard the RV guy, next year I may be in Richard’s place.
We are about 8 miles into the hike and on the west side of the trail head – the Glenwood Dunes Extension. I begin to speak non-sense my point is that this is a completely different environment. I very happy to have seen this area. Use the video controls to spin around and see the whole 360° experience.
60 Hikes within 60 Miles of Chicago is the book we follow. In this video we find Holly Berries. Holly leaves, branches and berries make beautiful holiday decorations, but the berries are poisonous to people and pets. Don’t forget to use the 360° video controls.
In order to see the mushrooms, how they smoke, the spiders and slugs we talk about in this video, you’ll need to use the 360° controls. I really like the smoking mushrooms and they are fun to play with. Read this Blog I found to see that I’m not far off by calling them puff-balls or smoking mushrooms, but most likely they are Lycoperdon pyriforme: https://medium.com/@chris.h.erickson/…
A small pine forest and my dad loves his pine trees. This is a great 360° video of a pine forest in the fall.
A personal video about mushrooms that puff smoke. You can hear my dad begin to freak out as I play with these little chimneys. No mushrooms were harmed in the making of this video, they puffers returned to their natural state after a few minutes.
Hike summary of our 14 mile Glenwood Dunes hike. I talk about meeting a new friend and many of the plants we experienced. Watch the next video to see my less than perfect summary attempt.
Ok, ignore almost everything I’m saying. The directions are totally opposite and it seems that I inhaled a few to many mushrooms. Thankfully a train interrupts me and we filmed a second take.
